A sex tape featuring Brittney Jones, Ashton Kutcher’s alleged mistress, has been acquired by Adult Entertainment company Vivid Entertainment and is set for release on December 14th.
Jones claims to have met Kutcher in July at a bowling alley.
[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”3/4″][vc_column_text]Actor Ashton Kutcher blasted Vivid Entertainment for using his name to promote its Brittney Jones sex tape. Brittney Jones claims to have been Kutcher’s mistress.
According to yesterday’s Vivid press release announcing the film,”Brittney Jones Confidential,” the 21-year old allegedly had a brief but passionate liaison with Kutcher on his Beverly Hills couch.
TMZ reported that Ashton’s lawyers sent Vivid co-chairman Steven Hirsch a letter saying they’re particularly livid over the portion of Vivid’s press release that says “Ashton’s fans will undoubtedly enjoy seeing what the star himself may have experienced.”
The press release said, “Vivid has obtained never-before-released footage that shows Brittney engaged in very explicit, uninhibited sex with a former boyfriend. Ashton’s fans will undoubtedly enjoy seeing what the star himself may have experienced, in this exclusive video.”
But Kutcher’s lawyers said that Vivid is infringing on the actor’s “marketable celebrity identity value.”
And the lawyers are threatening to “unleash a legal nightmare against Vivid” unless they stop associating his name with the Jones porn tape.
Hirsch told TMZ, “We received the letter late this afternoon and I immediately forwarded it to my attorney. We will respond accordingly.”
The movie is scheduled for a Dec.14 release.
UPDATE: Earlier on Friday, it was reported that Ashton Kutcher’s legal team sent a letter to Vivid Entertainment threatening legal action if they released the DVD, which has Ashton’s name on the cover. RadarOnline.com has learned that Vivid intends on releasing the tape.
“We intend to release the video – only Ashton Kutcher first name is on the cover. The whole situation in now in the hands of our lawyers,” Vivid spokesperson Jackie Markham told the site. “But again we are planning to release the tape.”[/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2”][vc_column_text]
